Recreational, Outdoor, and Social Activities
Group for Gay Women in Townsville and surrounding districts. We get together for motorbike rides, card game nights, bowling nights and weekends away.We have only been going since early 2008 so we are a relativity new group. We are family friendly and ladies with children are welcome. If there is anything you specifically want to do or to organize please don't be shy in letting us know. It's not confined to just weekends, we get together during the week. Wanna grab a movie or just a cuppa coffee with new friends then come and make those friends. Camping and Fishing, parties at some of the members homes, picnics, tripos to Maggie Island and Bush Poetry Nights are a few things our ladies will be doing during the coming year. The more we participate the bigger and better our fun will be. You may not have camping gear, ATV's, boats, bikes or even a car, what you do have is yourself and (bring your good time self) to the events someone will have a spare seat or gear. We encourage members to wear something purple to the events so that we can be easily identified by new ladies looking for us. Take a look at our photo gallery, you never know you might recognise some one. So come along ladies and have some R & R and alot of laughs.
